TEXT BELOW IN PROGRESS

The first track is a studio production mixed with field-recording.

The FIFTH track is a straight field-recording whilst performer & recordist walk together through Swithland Woods. The verbal content is largely the same as in the first track.

Each of Rod's performances are delivered by heart ... completely from memory.

The third track [yet to be uploaded] is a conversation whilst walking, between Rod Duncan & poet-sound-artist Mark Goodwin, about the collaborative process of field-recording Rod's performance, and also about Rod's having previously met a couple of shamans in the woods. This recording also includes some confrontation with summer undergrowth!
